This Cookie Policy explains how Arctic Adventure uses cookies and similar technologies on arcticadventure.se. It should be read together with our Privacy Policy.
1 Who is responsible
Arctic Adventure i Boden ekonomisk förening is responsible for the website and for deciding how cookies and similar technologies are used.

2 What cookies and similar technologies are
Cookies are small text files stored on your device. Some are deleted when you close your browser, while persistent cookies remain until they expire or you delete them. The website may also use browser storage, such as localStorage, to remember a choice without using a traditional cookie. The same transparency and consent principles apply where these technologies store or access information on your device.
3 Categories used on this website
Strictly necessary and preference technologies
These technologies remember your cookie choice and support functions that you explicitly request. They are not used for audience measurement or advertising. Consent is not required where storage is strictly necessary to provide the requested service, but clear information must still be provided.
Analytics technologies
We use Google Analytics 4 to understand how visitors use the website, including pages viewed, general navigation, session information, approximate location and device or browser information. Analytics is not strictly necessary. It may be used only after you have actively consented to the Analytics category.
4 Cookies and browser storage
| Name | Provider and type | Purpose | Category | Duration |
| aa_cookie_consent | Arctic Adventure; first-party cookie | Remembers the categories selected in the replacement consent interface. | Necessary preference | 6 months |
| _ga | Google Analytics; first-party cookie | Distinguishes visitors by assigning a client identifier for website statistics. | Analytics | Up to 2 years |
| _ga_2BP5VBXZBZ | Google Analytics; first-party cookie | Persists session state for Arctic Adventure’s GA4 property. | Analytics | Up to 2 years |
Cookie duration can be shortened by browser restrictions or settings. Google Analytics normally refreshes its cookie expiry on later visits. The table is updated whenever the website, consent platform or analytics configuration changes.
5 External services that do not currently set disclosed cookies
The website loads font files from Google Fonts and public assets through one.com infrastructure. These requests can disclose an IP address and technical request information even where no cookie is placed. The site also contains ordinary outbound links to Google Maps, Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn and TikTok. Those services receive information only if you follow a link; they are not currently embedded as social or map widgets on the reviewed pages.
If an embedded booking service, payment service, video, map, social feed or other third-party feature is added, this policy and the consent interface will be updated before that feature is launched.
6 Your choice and consent
When you first visit the website, the consent interface allows you to accept all optional technologies, reject non-essential technologies or manage categories. Rejecting Analytics does not prevent you from reading the website or sending an inquiry. Optional technologies remain disabled unless and until you give consent.
Consent is voluntary, specific and can be withdrawn at any time. You can reopen the consent interface through the Cookie settings link in the website footer. Withdrawal does not affect processing that took place before withdrawal.
7 Browser controls
You can also view, block and delete cookies through your browser settings. Blocking all cookies may affect functions that depend on a saved preference. Deleting cookies or localStorage will normally cause the website to ask for your choice again.
8 Personal data and international transfers
Analytics and technical requests may involve personal data such as an IP address, cookie identifier, approximate location, device information and website usage. Details about purposes, legal bases, recipients, retention, transfers outside the European Economic Area and your rights are provided in our Privacy Policy.
9 Changes to this policy
We update this policy when cookies, services, purposes or legal requirements change. The date at the beginning shows the latest revision. Material changes to optional technologies may require a new consent choice.
